Telluride Ski Resort

This is a great place to ski if you want to do a lot of vertical. There are more than 2,000 acres of terrain at the resort, with a base elevation elevation of 8,725ft and a maximum elevation elevation elevation of 13,150ft (4,425ft vertical drop).

There are plenty of runs for beginners, intermediate and advanced, as well as terrain that can be hiked to make it more challenging. About 300 inches of snow falls annually.

Telluride will be replacing the fixed-grip triple chair with a high-speed quad for the 2022/23 season. The new quad will take seven minutes to ride, compared to the previous 12.

Skiers who stay in Telluride can use the free gondola to get between Mountain Village and Telluride. It’s convenient for them to be able ski up and down the mountain from their homes. The gondola is open to all abilities. Anyone can take a ride and enjoy the view.

Telluride is a better choice than Mountain Village for skiers. They can either ski down to the town after they’re done skiing or download the gondola. There are no green runs down to Telluride from the gondola. They are also steeper than most skiers would like, especially at the end.

Telluride is not a resort owned by a company, but a true ski community. You will find interesting shops, restaurants, and coffee shops along the main street. The town is equally enjoyable in spring and fall, so you don’t need to be a skier. It hosts many events throughout the year and is a wonderful place to escape.
